The Benefits of Cancer Gear

I've been rocking a 'Cancer Sucks' sticker that I got in a Stupid Cancer goody bag! It was from the comedy show and I never would have thought this cancer sticker would have helped me out as much as it has.

I got pulled over the other day. I was on the side of the highway clumsily gathering my registration and such when I looked into my rear view mirror. The cop was in his car staring at my 'Cancer Sucks' sticker.

He slowly stepped outside of his car and started to move towards my drivers side window. All that was rolling around in my head was that if this guy gave me a ticket my car insurance will go up. I couldn't think of anything else. What was I doing.. I know I wasn't speeding. What was his problem? He probably just has a quota to fill and I am his lucky pick. Jesus Christ! I just kept on having these conversations in my head.

He leaned down and said, "Where did you get that sticker?'

I nervously answered "Uhm...ImTooYoungForThis dot org"

He started to smile.

Uh Good. Good. This is good?

What the hell? Is he going to give me a ticket?

The officer said "Do you know how fast you were going?"

I answered "Well my car starts to shake after 65, and it wasn't shaking. So under 65?"

He started to laugh and replied, "I'm just checking. You're tail light is out. I was actually going to give you a ticket, but my mom has breast cancer and seeing that sticker made me laugh. If you can get me to laugh, I try to take it easy on you then."

In my head I'm screaming HOLY CRAP!
